ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Gemma!
I'm a yoga teacher and yoga therapist based near Southampton, Hampshire.
I first started yoga when I was a new mum of two young boys (the 14.5 month age gap was killer in those early days!) and after my first class I was hooked on the feeling of space it gave me. Space to think, space to breath, space to be myself!
I’m a passionate advocate of the power of movement and it’s incredible abilities to help you feel better in both body and mind.
“After my first yoga class I was hooked on the feeling of space it gave me.”
Fast forward 10 years from my first yoga class and I have shared that feeling of space with thousands of people. I love empowering people to find their very own expression of what a yoga practice is. Whether it’s 5 minutes of stretching out your body whilst waiting for the kettle to boil or 30 minutes of well-earned restorative yoga after the kids have gone to sleep - it all counts. Most importantly, it all adds up to ensure that you feel good!
I trained in classical Hatha yoga, then completed a Yoga Therapy course so nowadays I’d describe my teaching style as “Feel Good”!
It’s a real mix - some weeks I want to flow fast and free, other weeks I want to sit and linger in the poses and I really love sharing this variety with you guys! The most important thing I want you to know about my classes is that as long as what you’re doing FEELS GOOD - you’re definitely doing it right!
